As a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, my path to functional and integrative health was born out of a desire to find real answers for people who were told their symptoms were "just part of aging."

For years, I worked in conventional medicine—from emergency rooms and primary care to pain management and behavioral health. Throughout my career, I saw a recurring theme: people coming in exhausted, struggling with their weight, losing their drive, and feeling disconnected from their bodies. The standard answer was often a quick prescription and being told these changes were a normal part of getting older. I knew there had to be a better way.

The Birth of Living and Wellness by Design

That realization led me down the path of functional and integrative health. To genuinely support healing and long-term performance, we can't just mask symptoms; we have to look at the whole picture. Hormones, metabolic health, psychology, stress recovery, and lifestyle all play critical, interconnected roles in overall vitality.

I created Living and Wellness by Design because people deserve a place where their health is taken seriously, without judgment or shame. Too often we carry the weight of the world on our shoulders—over-functioning, suppressing stress, and pushing through burnout. My goal is to provide science-informed, deeply practical education.

My mission is to help people rebuild their health, confidence, and vitality through practical, personalized, functional medicine-informed education.

This work matters to me because I've seen what changes when someone gets their energy and drive back. It's not just about living longer; it's about living better—showing up fully for your family, your work, and yourself. You are not broken. Your body is asking for a smarter strategy, and smarter strategies can be learned.
